I'm just curious who loves to read here. I'm an editor, which makes it difficult to read after hours sometimes. However, I'm currently reading: Murder Most Royal by Jean Plaidy; Castle in the Air by Diana Wynne Jones; True Faith by Sid Prise; The Destined Queen by Deborah Hale; and Black Dawn by L.J. Smith. I've got Everville by Clive Barker on my library table, and want to pick up Innocent Traitor: A Novel of Lady Jane Grey from the library. So what are you guys reading?

If I misread anything than I'm sure it isnt the first time and probably not the last time i do so. And I can't help but thinking maybe we have a topic for a new blog ? hmmmmm

Nopers bucko!!! LOL. Only shadows I visit are ones created by fire and candlelight.

Silly boy, I was off visiting family for a long weekend and didn't fire up the laptop much at all. Too busy dominating my family...~WEG~

The only problem with the beauty books by Anne Rice is that get so boring.By the end of the first book we know beauty's gonna get it from behind, she's gonna get it from the front, she's gonna get it from the side, and she's gonna get spanked. It just became the same thing over and over. But this is a man's perspective,I do know women see things quite differently !

LOL, that is a true-ism. It's just that some of her ideas are so very creative!!! he he he. She does touch upon different levels and acceptance of submission in a variety of ways, mental and emotional. I know for some in the lifestyle (not so much Leathers*x, Gor or from the domme perspective) the fantasy she weaves is quite alluring.

Wild Side Sex by Midori Is this a good one? Don;t know where I heard about it but was curious if it si worth seeking out? ANd the Anice Rice trilogy is this one as good as her other stuff?

Midori's book is excellent. It is a collection of essays she has written covering a wide range of SM/related topics in a very down to earth, realistic manner. She writes well and her work is entertaining and informative.

The Sleeping Beauty trilogy is a fun read. I know there are those that say it is not as well written as her other works but it's a lighter read in some aspects compared to her other books. They have a note of romanticism about them even given the nature of the material. Good bathtub or under the covers reading!!!

I am reading The Sleeping Beauty triology by Anne Rice. Tantric Sex for Women by Christa Schulte. The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolfe. Wild Side Sex by Midori and a variety of art and mixed media periodicals (Somerset Studio, Quilting Arts, Cloth Paper Scissors, etc). I also have a little ol' pile of sci-fi fantasy books I'm trying to find time to get started on as well...LOL.
